Haha Hihi...

Anak-anak kecil ini...

Seru banget keliatannya! Padahal “cuma” maen Dampu/engklek di pinggir got yang baunya... Mmpf... Lumayan. Cukup mulung pecahan genting ato kapur, gambar kotak-kotak di jalanan gang, maen deh sampe keringetan! Riaaang banget! Sesekali ada yang manyun karena ngerasa dicurangin. Tapi mukanya langsung cerah lagi begitu gilirannya datang.

Teng... Teng... Teng... Ngga lama tukang es nong-nong lewat. Menggoda banget pas lagi keringetan kaya gini. Tapi... Lho, apa tuh?

Jualannya laris manis, senyumnya tambah lebar. Sambil ngejaga keseimbangan karena loncat-loncat pake satu kaki, si anak cewe yang paling besar asik ngejilatin gulanya yang berbentuk kembang ngga jelas.

Ngga lama ujan turun rintik-rintik. Brrr... Cuaca Bandung jadi makin dingin. Tapi anak-anak ini cuek-cuek aja tuh! Padahal badan boro-boro dibungkus pake jaket mahal super tebal!

Bakal tau ngga ya dia sama permainan kaya gini? Sama permen kaya gitu? Apa dia hanya akan tau Barbie, Wii, The Sims, Counter Strike, Coco Crunch & Sushi Tei aja? Apa yang bakal bikin dia bangga: menang maen petak jongkok ato punya HP model terbaru? Apa dia bakal langsung sakit kaya ibunya meski kepalanya baru kejatuhan 3 tetes aer ujan?

Gosh... I would give my life to provide my baby with the finest things. But I would also love to see him/her enjoy & appreciate the “little things” in life.

Having the same thing everyday with my daughter.
The wanting to give her the best, yet the wish to have a daughter who won't cracked under pressure ..

There are times my daughter thinks that I am too tough as a mother, but there are times I feel proud of her independence and maturity resulted from the hard times I sometimes give her.

But hey, you'll be fine, and (s)he'll be fine having a mother like you.

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst, is always a good thing to teach !

hahaha... cute... come and live with me in Canada. Disini anak2nya belum teracuni oleh gadgets and stuff.. The kids still appreciate old fashion games and sports such as hide and seek, hopscotch, playing tags and riding their bicycles. Kayla is almost 9, and she never ask for a cellphone or an iPod, except one time when we were in Jakarta.. I would feel the same way you do if I live in Jakarta.. I think if you get to stay home with the kids, you get to control how they think and view things in life.. hehehe... sok tau sekalii..
