Ber-3 di 33

Diawali seperti taun-taun sebelumnya, aku “ngerayain” ulang taun berdua sama Ica. Menjelang midnite, di tempat tidur kita berkutat sama komputer masing-masing. Then Ica went downstairs to get his midnite snack, usually some chocolates & a can of coke :p I was completely drowned in the virtual world. Still, the corner of my eyes caught the sudden darkness in our living room. He??? Mati lampu?? Ngejepret? Bohlamnya wear out? Padahal baru diganti...

Beberapa detik kemudian, I saw some light. Candle lights. And there he was... My sweet, sweet husband, holding a candle-lit-heart-shaped birthday ice cake, while singing “Happy Birthday” to me, right on the stroke of midnite...

What happened next, udah ketebak :D I cried happily. I hugged him & wished Kukka could see what a sweet dad she has. Beberapa menit kemudian Kukka bangun, demanding her midnite snack. I breastfed her & hold her tight. NOW, my birthday is perfect :)

Oh, how wrong I was :p It turned out I got to spend the whoooole day with my hubby & baby! Katanya aku mau dibawa ke tempat “surprise” :D And what a surprise it was!!!! Thanks to Ica, now I have a birthday present that (could) lasts forever!!! Hihihihhi! Sampe H+3 ini aja it still feels surreal. Man... I could’ve never guess this one! :) Then we went to dinner at Emilie. Perfect meal to end the day ;)

Kukka seemed to enjoy my birthday too. Soalnya selain ada Ibu, Si Bapa juga always in her sight. Menghilang sedetik dari jarak pandangnya, langsung deh keluar suara manja “Bapa?” :p Di tempat kado she had a great time too. She made some new “cool & unique” friends heheh...

After putting my baby to sleep & watching my husband doing his thing, it got me thinking. I remembered my 32nd birthday blog. I was still 8mos pregnant with Kukka. I remembered thinking that if Allah gave me time to reach 33, it would be perfect because I got to celebrate it with the people who make me “alive”: my husband & my baby daughter. And now, that is exactly how I’m feeling.

I'm alive. Alhamdulillahi robilallamin...
